I shall be boycotting McCann's and will avoid shopping there, owing to the fact that they are now supplying squirrel traps. In my opinion, this is very irresponsible and will encourage animal cruelty. The squirrel population will not be greatly affected by people trapping and killing individual squirrels. This is just needless killing for the sake of it by mean-spirited invividuals who have nothing better to do. Grey squirrels are now firmly established British animals, and the supposed 'damage' they do is over-rated. LIVE AND LET LIVE! Any squirrel traps I see will be destroyed!.
