"A pathetic attempt of a tearoom"

A review of C & J Ives by Thomas Ellis written on Thursday 13th of December 2012

The food really leaves a lot to be desired as does the service. Chips overcooked in old stale oil. Food reheated in a microwave. Canned veg.

You would imagine that a "Farm Shop" would be the one place where you could get quality, homely, "like your mother used to make" food wouldn`t you?

A pathetic attempt.

Poorly cooked and presented. We definatley WON`T be going back..
