Ive eaten fish and chips all over the country and county and have to say that the cafe attached to the trawler takeaway in Drighlington is by far the best. The service is friendly and welcoming, the cutlery and crockery is fresh and clean and the food is simply sublime. We both had the £10 for 2 deal including fish and chips each, a pot of tea for two and brown bread and butter and had a thoroughly lovely time. Another reviewer commented that the fish was soggy, well i guess he has left them wrapped up for too long - anyone knows fish and chips go soggy if kept wrapped up so we often eat in and they are as crispy and fresh as if i'd cooked them myself. Perfection on a plate - thankyou Trawlerfolk!! Phillip .
