This school has demonstrated very poor judgement as per the story previously quoted from 14 Dec 09, Daily Mail.

The school owes these two children a party, thrown in their honour, at school expense. Barring them from a party because they missed when their father died?

Who is the jobsworth who authorised this? And they think apologising to the mother will cure all? Throw a party for these kids, just for them. Invite the whole school, all parents, etc...
